Refund policy
If Pro is not for you, you can have your first payment back within 14 days.
The short version
- Your first payment for Pro, monthly or yearly, is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of buying.
- Renewals are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Free costs nothing and takes no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
Your first payment
If you ask within 14 days of your first Pro payment, you get the whole amount back, whichever plan you chose and however much you dictated. This applies once per customer: to your first Pro subscription, not to a new one started after a refund.
Renewals
A monthly or yearly renewal is not refundable once it has been charged, unless the law where you live requires it. You can cancel at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account returns to Free.
If we end the service
If we stop offering Tersa Cloud, or close your account when you have not broken the terms of service, we refund the unused part of any period you paid for in advance.
How to ask
Refunds are paid through Stripe, the merchant of record. To ask for one, either:
- write to us at [email protected] from the email address you bought with; or
- use the contact details on the receipt Stripe emailed you.
Stripe returns the money to the payment method you used, and we end the subscription, so your account returns to Free straight away.
Your legal rights
This policy adds to your rights under the law; it does not take any away. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you may also have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days.
